the last remaining issue to be decided is whether Easington or Horden are relegated to the Wearside League.
Easington, who are eight points adrift of safety, will be relegated today if they lose at home to Crook Town. Easington manager Paul Adamson, who was in charge of Crook earlier in the season, is missing suspended pair Paul Moss and Callum Sweeney, while Simon Todd is unavailable.
Crook are strengthened by the returns of Craig Hughes and Paul Gibson, but they are still without striker Kev Devine because of suspension.
Horden have a very tough away game at promoted Gillford Park, who are aiming for the runners up spot, and they add Dan Reeves and Stephen Pyle to their squad. Gillford will be close to full strength, except for Dean Douglas who is injured.
Darlington RA are hoping to seal a top six place when they go third bottom Seaham Red Star, but they will be without strikers without Freddie Huscroft and Paul Freary, as well as midfielder Graham Whitehead. Two strikers, Garry Barnes and Michael Barnett, both return to the squad..
Team Northumbria can lift the title this afternoon if they win at Brandon, but they may rest players in view of their two cup semi finals next week. However, the game is subject a morning pitch inspection.
Hebburn, the other promoted club, are at home to Ryton and Crawcrook, and manager Paul Bennett will choose from a 20 man squad, although defender Chris Jewels is missing.
Thornaby are at Morpeth, whose late season slump has cost them promotion. Defender Rob Pearson and midfielder Lewis Hopson are both added to the squad.
Chester-le-Street, who have improved steadily over the last two months, are at North Shields and they recall Jonnie Evans, Aaron Croft and Luke Proctor to their squad, but defender Paul Wardle will have a fitness test.
Northallerton, who haven’t lost in seven matches, are at Alnwick, and they welcome back striker Colin Anderson and midfielder Stuart Hardy, who both missed the midweek win at Whickham.
Esh Winning go over to Whitehaven, and are without several players for various reasons, so manager Andrew Soppitt chooses from a squad of 13 players.
