Darlington RA hope to complete the signing of striker Garry Barnes from Norton before their home game with Hebburn. Barnes has played for several first division clubs, including Shildon where he once scored over 60 goals in a season. Midfielder Graham Whitehead and striker Paul Freary will both be missing. Hebburn welcome back their top scorer Liam McBryde, and he will probably partner new signing Alex Benjamin up front. Midfielders Dean Nicholson and David Borley are also added to the squad.
In the chasing pack, Esh Winning have a big home game against North Shields, and manager Andrew Soppitt will have a full squad to choose from. Shields, who have lost only away in the league this season, include new striker Adam Rowntree, signed from Newcastle Benfield.
Birtley, who are unbeaten in their last nine matches, are at home to bottom club Easington, and manager Scott Oliver will choose from a full squad of 17 players.
Easington, who have a fund raising friendly at Spennymoor on Monday, include striker Anthony Dobell, signed from Crook Town.
Crook, who are at Seaham Red Star, will give a debut to new centre half Leon Ryan, and in turn that means manager Gary Pearson will have a full squad.
Seaham could include three new signings, but striker Dan Corbett is unavailable, although Tim Bowman or Jonny Monaghan could replace him.
Chester-le-Street will give debuts to three new signings at home to Gillford Park, one of them being midfielder Jack Honour, who was young player of the year in the league last season. John Gibbons and Jack Lilley have also been signed.
Gillford themselves hand a debut to new striker Gavin Barton, signed from Spennymoor. Their top scorer, Marc Shiel, is unavailable.
Northallerton are hoping to end a four game losing run away to Whickham, and with Martin Butterworth returning, manager Mark Fanning will have a full squad to choose from.
Thornaby, who haven’t won in ten league matches, are at Whitehaven, and they include new signing Emil Price from Stokesley, but striker Marcus Laing is suspended.
In the other games, Team Northumbria face Morpeth. The match between Brandon and Ryton has been postponed.
