Darlington RA could climb into the top three of the second division if they beat Alnwick at Brinkburn Road tonight.
After dropping into midtable in the middle of October, the RA have suddenly picked up their momentum, and have lost just once in their last six matches.
Striker Graeme Whitehead and midfielder Steve Cheeseman both return to the squad, but Jame Howlett and Karl Hewitt are both missing.
The RA have already beaten Alnwick this season, by 3-0 back in September.
In the first division, Shildon are at Bedlington and will give defender Marc Ellison and midfielder Lee Chapman fitness tests. The match is in doubt though, because the high winds have knocked some of the Bedlington lights out of alignment. A decision is due at lunchtime today.
Northallerton, who face Crook in the EA Memorial Cup, will be without striker Carl Chillingsworth, defender Craig Winter and midfielder Stuart Hardy. Crook are missing keeper Marc Riches and Elliott Woods.
