Second Division Easington won't be suspended by the league after paying their outstanding fines.
Easington were hauled in front of the last League Management committee meeting for failing to pay two £25 fines after two cheques bounced, and they were instructed to pay them by other means by the end of this week, otherwise they would be suspended.
League secretary Tony Golightly has confirmed that the fines have been paid today, and so their game at Crook on Saturday is free to go ahead.
However, Easington have still got another £250 fine to pay to the league, their punishment for not fulfilling their away game at Gillford Park last month. They still have another three weeks to pay that.
