Shildon will give new centre half Ian Maddison his full debut in their away game at Penrith tonight.
Shildon boss Gary Forrest signed Maddison from Sunderland RCA last week, and he made a brief sub appearance on Saturday in the 2-2 home draw with Consett.
Maddison, who was at West Auckland last season, will probably start the game tonight. Lee Chapman, Chris McCabe and Dave Gordon are all missing for Shildon.
Ashington are at home to South Shields, and will be without Darren Lough, Gareth Bainbridge and Stephen Young all because of injury. Shields welcome back keeper Jonny Ball and defender Barrie Smith after injury, but there are fitness doubts over four other players.
In the second division, Darlington RA are at Hebburn, and manager Nick Harrison expects James Evison to return, but Dale Elgie is missing.
Hebburn lost 4-0 at Chester-le-Street on Saturday, and manager Paul Bennett will probably make several changes.
Gillford Park, at home to Alnwick, add James Earl after suspension.
Thornaby will give a debut to new keeper Shane Hine in their North Riding Senior Cup tie against Grangetown Boys Club, while young striker Joe Carter is also included in the squad. Defender Darren Morton is unavailable.
