Second Division champions Newton Aycliffe have signed former Hartlepool defender Darren Craddock.
Centre half Craddock, 26, made 33 appearances for Hartlepool before moving on to York City, Newcastle Blue Star, Blyth and Whitby.
Aycliffe manager Alan Oliver said: “He is a good experienced centre half who will strengthen the squad for the new season.”
Oliver still hasn’t given up hope of signing a striker, and is hoping to recruit one this weekend.
