Paul Aldsworth -- otherwise known as Pele -- has decided to quit Shildon.
Aldsworth, who helped Coundon Conservative club to two FA Sunday Cup finals before he was given a coaching role at Shildon last season, has decided to quit, so the club have appointed Stu Gooden to the management team.
Shildon manager Gary Forrest said: "He did not feel that he could provide the neccesary commitment to the club this season. I would like to thank Paul for all his work and it was a privilege to work with him.
"I would like to confirm that we have appointed Stuart Gooden as his replacement. Stu was on the management team at Chester Le Street last season and is manager of Hetton Lyons."
