Sunderland RCA manager Neil Hixon has signed three more players as the exodus from Stokesley continues.
Hixon has signed two players who were at Stokesley last season. Defender/midfielder Brian Close started his career as a youngster at Middlesbrough, and spent three seasons at Darlington before being released by Quakers in 2007.
Midfielder David Wells also had a spell in the pro game with Darlington, and played for Billingham Synthonia for several years before moving on to Dunston and Stokesley.
And striker Mark Davison had a previous spell at RCA before he moved to Ryton and Chester-le-Street last season. He scored 16 goals for Chester in the league last season, and in the season before that scored 24 for the RCA when they won promotion to the first division.
