Esh Winning manager Andrew Soppitt has wasted no time in starting a clearout at Waterhouses.
Esh were in the relegation zone for the vast majority of last season, and Soppitt, who was appointed in March, is drastically changing the squad with nine new players already signed up.
He has signed five midfielders, one of whom is former Esh player Kieran Megran, who was at Consett last season. He has also brought in Chris Smith, former Darlington player David Duke, John Jury and Simon Ord. Striker Craig Mickle, who won a second division title winners' medal with Newton Aycliffe last season, has also been recruited, plus wingers Jason Brazauskas and Lee Blades and defender Graham Irving.
