STL Second Division club Morpeth have appointed Nick Gray as their new manager.
The club moved quickly to appoint Gray, who has been managing Seaton Delaval in the Northern Alliance, after Trevor Benjamin left a week ago. Gray pipped Tom Wade, who was Morpeth manager a year ago, for the job.
Gray has announced that he is going to strengthen the playing squad by bringing most of his players from Seaton Delaval to the club.
There was a suggestion that Benjamin, together with his assistant Olivier Bernard, were going to stay at the club in some capacity, but they have definitely left, along with secretary Lawrence Appleby.
