Hebburn's new boss, Paul Bennett, saw his team win in his first game in charge when they beat Seaham Red Star 2-1.
Bennett has signed six players since he took over -- five of them from west Allotment -- and one of them, Dean Nicholson, opened the scoring after 30 minutes from a set up by Dean Walker.
Seaham equalised after 65 minutes when Robbie Bird cut in from the left and fired home, but Dan Olusoga, signed by previous manager Rob Marsden from West Auckland, beat two defenders and scored the winner with a left foot shot.
Hebburn have moved up three places with their first win in seven matches.
