Gillford Park's scheduled home game with Morpeth will not be going ahead in Cumbria tomorrow.
Morpeth received a phone call this afternoon from Gillford Park saying that they were unable to gain access to their ground, after making preparations and ground improvements all week.
The league then quickly contacted Morpeth to switch the game, but Craik Park is far from ready. The pitch isn't prepared, and hasn't been marked out. Morpeth have already paid £300 for a coach to take them to Cumbria.
An inspection of Craik Park will take place on saturday morning. But more seriously, the league will be less than pleased with Gillford Park, after being assured that their first home game of the season would finally be taking place. The club has been in dispute with their landlords since the start of the season.
And on the west coast, Whitehaven's home game with North Shields has been postponed, because of a waterlogged pitch.
