Bishop Auckland are in a dilemma as they prepare for the first game at their new stadium.
Bishops have arranged an attractive opening game against a Middlesbrough select eleven on Tuesday, but they are also due to play in the Durham Challenge Cup next week against Dunston.
Dunston’s usual home night is Tuesday, and Bishops have asked Dunston if they would like to switch to either Monday or Wednesday.
But Dunston’s players want to play on Tuesday, and are unwilling to change, which means that Bishops might be faced with the possibility of dropping out of the competition, in favour of a more financially lucrative option against Middlesbrough.
