Thornaby's STL Second Division game at Guisborough on Saturday will still take place, despite the sudden death of Thornaby secretary Peter Morris.
Peter collapsed with a major heart attack while refereeing a Civil Service match on Tyneside at the weekend, and sadly died on Wednesday in the Freeman Hospital.
Tributes have since poured in for "Mr Thornaby", many of them mentioning the hard work he put in for the club over many years, and also for his engaging and friendly personality.
Manager Ray Morton says that Saturday's game at the King George will still be go ahead as planned.
"Peter would have wanted it to be played," he said. The game will be preceded by a minute's silence.
