Newcastle Benfield striker John Campbell became the first player in the league this season to score five in one game as he led Newcastle Benfield’s 7-0 rout over Esh Winning.
Benfield were 4-0 up in the first 20 minutes, as Esh, with new manager Peter Mulcaster in charge of his first game, stayed bottom of the First Division. Scott Fenwick and Adam Rowntree scored the others.
Campbell has now scored 15 goals for the season in the league, three behind top scorer Alex Benjamin.
