Bishop Auckland climbed closer to the top three in the ENL First Division with a 4-1 away win at Guisborough tonight.
Bishops went behind when Guisborough’s Steven Roberts scored with a deflected shot, but Andy Johnson nearly equalised with a shot that struck the post.
However, Johnson broke through from close range for the equaliser, and then made it 2-1 from the penalty spot.
Bishops went 3-1 up early in the second half through Kyle Morris, then Jackson Waller headed in from a corner.
Stockton Town are top of the table after they beat Sunderland RCA 2-0 at Bishopton Road West.
Nathan Mulligan and Jordan Robinson scored their goals in the second half.
In the second division, Crook Town came from 1-0 down at half time to beat Jarrow 3-1 at the Millfield.
Jarrow took the lead through Jon Hirst, but Crook hit back to win through Dane Eltringham, Nathan Stephenson and Martin Kent.
Esh Winning lost 5-3 at home to Easington to leave them third from bottom, while Willington had a good 3-1 home win over Ryton and Crawcrook.
