Darlington's first FA Cup tie in nearly three years could be a derby game against one of their neighbours.
Quakers have been drawn against West Auckland in the preliminary round on August 30th, if the Northern League side beat Nelson in the extra prelimiary round a fortnight before.
There was plenty of controversy when the two sides met in the Northern League, with Darlington fans boycotting the game at West because of a rise in admission prices.
It will be Quakers’ first FA Cup tie since they lost at Hinckley in November 2011 as they have been excluded by the FA for the last two seasons.
West, meanwhile, defeated three teams from above them in the national system last season.
