Yorkshire have been set 153 to win their Friends Life twenty20 match with Derbyshire at Headingley.
A disciplined bowling performance is the reason that the Tykes were just about favourites to win at the half-way stage.
Wayne Madsen did make an unbeaten 61 for the visitors, but for the majority of their innings the Falcons were unable to score at a rapid enough rate.
Chesney Hughes also made 31, whilst Ajmal Shahzad was the pick of the Yorkshire bowlers.
He ended with figures of 1-25 from his four overs.
