INJURY has forced Alan Pardew to change his back four for the first time in the league this season for the trip to Norwich City today.
Fabricio Coloccini (groin) and Steven Taylor (Achilles) miss out, with Davide Santon and James Perch receiving their first Premier League starts of the campaign.
Ryan Taylor and Santon will be the Magpies’ full-backs with Danny Simpson partnering Perch in the heart of the defence.
Demba Ba partners Shola Ameobi while Dan Gosling will sit alongside Yohan Cabaye as Pardew’s team look to get back to winning ways after suffering defeat to Manchester City and then Chelsea last weekend.
