Following difficult trips to Manchester and bad luck in a defeat to Chelsea, Newcastle head to Carrow Road where the home team, Norwich, are 6/4 favourites with Betfred.
Newcastle's win odds, 19/10 with Boylesports, are a reflection of the fact they have picked up just one point from nine but the Magpies are capable of getting back on the winning trail here.
Cautious fans will probably want a bit of Partybets' 9/4 on a draw as their team get back into their stride, a 1-1 affair coming in at 11/2 (Ladbrokes), but it should be noted that Norwich are yet to keep a clean sheet at home and Newcastle have only failed to score away once.
It's very tempting to back the 6/4 (Sportingbet) for at least two from Newcastle and certainly the 4/6 (Skybet) about both teams netting.
Demba Ba is Victor Chandler's 11/2 chance to open the scoring while his teammate Leon Best is 7's at Paddy Power. The teams are 5/6 courtesy of Stan James to rack up at least three goals between them.
Martin O'Neill's return to management sees him take over a Sunderland side that are 10/11 (Stan James) to beat Blackburn Rovers (10/3, Paddy Power) tomorrow.
Sunderland's defeat last week means they have just two wins all season but surely only the pessimistic would be happy with a draw, 3.5 (5/2) at Betdaq, as they look to welcome in new enthusiasm.
Yakubu, 7/1 at Totesport to notch first, is an obvious danger after bagging four at Ewood Park last week but Steve Kean's side will be lucky to even score.
Partybets chalk up 7/4 on a Sunderland clean sheet while Skybet go 5/2 for them to combine that with a victory.
Kieran Richardson will look to keep up his good form which saw him net last weekend and he is Boylesports' 9/1 chance to snatch the first of the day while Bet365 make him 11/4 to simply score at any point.
Middlesbrough got back to winning ways last weekend and they are Totesport's 10/11 jollies to beat visiting Brighton.
Gus Poyet's team are picking up speed after a dip and have perhaps been too generously priced by Victor Chandler at 4/1 but that being said, their away form is not up to scratch and with just one goal in four away games, they may be happy with a point, 5/2 with Betfred.
With the Seagulls not finding the net on their travels and Boro hardly prolific at the Riverside, we may be looking at a game with two goals or less, priced at 1.7 (7/10) by Betdaq, and a cagey bore-draw is chalked up at 9/1 at Ladbrokes, which is not without appeal while Boylesports' 14/5 on either team snatching the game 1-0 is not a bad safety net.
In League One, Hartlepool will be encouraged that Brentford have only won once at home in eight attempts and so Sportingbet's 10/3 on Pools is very tempting while in the FA Trophy, Darlington are 5/2 (bet365) to draw away at Grimsby.
