Yorkshire have announced the capture of former Australian Test star Jason Gillespie as their new first-team coach.

The White Rose county have also unveiled Paul Farbrace as their new second-team coach, Ian Dews as their director of cricket operations and Richard Damms as their new development manager.

Gillespie, Farbrace and Dews will all report to director of professional cricket Martyn Moxon, while Damms will report to Dews.

While Dews is already in position, Farbrace and Damms will start work at Headingley on December 1.

Gillespie, meanwhile, is due at Headingley for a week in early December, but will not start his new role officially until late February/early March.

After completing his commitments with the Mid West Rhinos in Zimbabwe, he will be in place in time for a planned pre-season tour of Barbados in mid-March.

Yorkshire have also signed Australian opening batsman Phil Jaques as their overseas player on a two-year deal.
