HARTLEPOOL UNITED: The club confirmed they won't appeal against goalkeeper Scott Flinders' sending off in the FA Cup tie with Stevenage.
Flinders was shown a red card in the eighth minute by referee Mark Heywood for bringing down Chris Beardsley in the area. Scott Laird converted the spot-kick - the game's only goal - as Pools were knocked out.
Wadsworth told the club's website: ‘‘I feel very sorry for Scott because we did feel Neil Austin had got back into a position to get the ball.
‘‘But I felt we were very harshly dealt with over the Bournemouth incident (Pools were fined by the FA for a mass confrontation despite pleding their innocence).
"And if we stick to the one-game ban this time we know where we are.''
Flinders will be replaced by Andy Rafferty at Scunthorpe on Saturday. The former Horden and Guisborough keeper impressed in his second game for Pools at the weekend.
Wadsworth, meanwhile, is awaiting news on injuries to Sam Collins (calf), James Brown (groin) and Colin Nish (knee) after the trio were forced out of the weekend's game after pulling up in training the day before.
