IN-FORM midfielder David Vaughan has not travelled to Old Trafford and his place in the Sunderland starting line-up has been filled by captain Lee Cattermole.
Cattermole has been handed a recall to the team after being left out of the last two matches, with Vaughan missing with a groin strain.
Manager Steve Bruce, back at Old Trafford on the day his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson celebrates 25 years in charge, also has to make two other changes to team that started the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.
Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood comes in for his full Premier League debut in the absence of the injured Simon Mignolet, while former Red Devil Phil Bardsley replaces hamstrung John O'Shea at right-back.
