CHEIK Tiote and Gabriel Obertan are both unavailable as Newcastle United look to extend their unbeaten start to the season to 11 league matches against Everton today.
Tiote is still suffering from the knee injury that kept him out of Monday's 3-1 win at Stoke, while Obertan is absent because of an infected toe.
Danny Guthrie retains his place in central midfield alongside Yohan Cabaye, with Sylvain Marveaux making his first Premier League start on the right-hand side in place of Obertan.
Demba Ba continues to partner Leon Best in attack, with Newcastle's first-choice back four unchanged once again.
