PAUL Swift is the latest star name to sign up for the MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix to be held at Croft Circuit, near Darlington on November 6.
The stunt and precision driver, who is both nationally and internationally renowned, will be taking part in the Swift Rallycross Cup as well as performing his high-octane routine.
Swift will be taking on local stars such as double Suzuki Swift Champion Dave Bellerby and leading front-runner Jonny Bean. Both Northallerton drivers have been at the forefront all year and with 23 cars set to contest the Suzuki Swift classes, the action should be fast and furious.
Bellerby's eldest daughter, Paige, will also be in action in the Swift Junior Rallycross class and as part of the campaign to encourage more females into motorsport, the 15-year-old Northallerton College student will be exhibiting her car and handing out promotional material in Northallerton High Street on Saturday and the following Wednesday.
Entries are still available for the MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix, but all classes are filling up so any remaining competitors are advised to submit their entries as soon as possible.
Adult ticket prices are £8 on the Saturday and £15 on the Sunday or £18 for a weekend ticket. Advance tickets are available until October 28 and more information can be found at www.croftcircuit.co.uk
