The unbeaten Magpies are looking to extend their best start since the 1994-95 season by avoiding defeat against Tottenham who have an eye on taking fourth spot from their opponents.
But Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has been satisfied to be able to name the team that has served him well so far, with Yohan Cabaye, Cheik Tiote, Demba Ba, Jonas Gutierrez and Tim Krul all returning from international duty unscathed.
Spurs, meanwhile, include former Newcastle captain Scott Parker at the heart of their midfield.
