Forpadydeplasterer faces just two rivals on his return from a long layoff in the Star "Best For Racing Coverage" Chase at Punchestown today.
The 2009 Arkle winner proved himself among the best over two miles the following year, although he could only finish second in the Queen Mother, Melling and Punchestown Champion Chases.
His last run was in the rescheduled King George in January, where he was pulled-up and trainer Tom Cooper reported him to have returned to his County Kerry stable under the weather.
Forpadydeplasterer tries the longer trip again, this time over two miles and seven furlongs, and he is receiving weight from Gordon Elliott's Roi du Mee and Paul Gilligan's Jadanli, who also returned from a considerable absence at Listowel recently.
