DURHAM and Yorkshire have to turn their attentions back to Twenty20 cricket after yesterday's championship draw and both have injury concerns.

Paul Collingwood is expected to miss Durham's home matches against Lancashire on Friday and Worcestershire on Sunday with a groin injury, while Yorkshire are to rest Ryan Sidebottom for a week because of a knee problem.

Tim Bresnan is not quite ready for Yorkshire's match at home to Derbyshire tonight, but is expected to return after his calf injury in Friday's game at Edgbaston.

Durham have also revealed that David Miller has to return to South Africa after Sunday's game and will return for the final few Twenty20 games only if they still have a chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

After his match-saving century yesterday Yorkshire skipper Andrew Gale was unperturbed about his side dropping below Worcestershire into a relegation place.

"There's still a lot of cricket to play and coming out of this with a draw will bring back more of the confidence and belief we didn't have a few weeks ago," he said.

"Last season everything turned to gold, but we knew there would be tough times ahead. This is a young, developing side and we have the makings of a great team. I certainly can't knock their work ethic.

"It was unfortunate to lose the toss here because the pitch was damp and Durham bowled well. There were only two or three dismissals which we could have avoided.

"We are a good fighting team and Gary Ballance has again shown he fits that mould, doing well in pressure situations. And for Joe Root, at 20, to open the innings so well against Graham Onions and Steve Harmison shows he has something special."

Durham coach Geoff Cook said: "If you can't win then to take maximum bonus points is the next best thing. The pitch had something in it for the bowlers on the first two days, but most of the pace and bounce went out of it.

"I'm delighted for Paul Collingwood that he scored a century. After losing form and the England Twenty20 captaincy some self-doubt had crept in and he had to find out whether he still had the motivation to play at this level.

"His hundred dispelled any doubts about his form and the reception he got from the players proved how well he has integrated back into our set-up. One innings doesn't prove anything about his future but we will judge it month by month."
