RICHARD Hannon junior is confident Memory can erase her 1000 Guineas nightmare when she goes for the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot next Friday.

The daughter of Danehill Dancer was considered a major contender for the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in May but stood still when the gates opened and immediately lost all chance.

Connections have been getting plenty of stalls work into her at home and Hannon junior, son and assistant to his father, is hopeful she can show he true colours next week.

‘‘She is fine and she appears to be in great form,’’ Hannon said.

‘‘We’ve been doing plenty of stalls work with her and she’s been getting through no problem.’’
