Yorkshire are in trouble on the final day of their LV=County Championship match against Somerset.
At lunch on day four they had reached 296 for nine in their second-innings – a lead of only 202 runs.
Resuming on 248 for six they got off to the worst possible start in Taunton, when Jonathan Bairstow was removed for 80 with only the third ball of the day.
This left them with a lead of just 155 runs – before Adil Rashid and Ajmal Shahzad provided some resistance on a sunny but blustery day in the South-West.
Together they added 35 runs to the total, from 153 balls, until Shahzad was ran-out by sub-fielder Jake Lintott for 11 to leave Yorkshire on 284 for eight.
Steve Kirby was the bowler who the duo had tried to steal a single off, with the former Yorkshire player then ousting Ryan Sidebottom for just two to really leave the Tykes in trouble after the morning session.
Rashid, who is on 34, and Oliver Hannon-Dalby, who is on nought, will resume after the interval - with the white rose hoping to set their hosts as big a victory target as possible.
