DANNY Guthrie returns to Newcastle's starting line-up as West Brom visit St James' Park on the final day of the season.

Guthrie replaces Jonas Gutierrez, who is unavailable after sustaining a thigh injury.

The midfielder is expected to partner Ryan Taylor in the central area, with Joey Barton returning to his previous position on the right of midfield.

The rest of the Newcastle side is unchanged from last weekend's 2-2 draw at Chelsea, however Leon Best returns from injury to replace Sammy Ameobi on the substitutes' bench.
