MICK Wadsworth won't feel under pressure if skipper Sam Collins isn't fit for tomorrow's trip to Peterborough.
The centre-half and captain has missed the last four games with a medial knee injury.
He was on the bench for Tuesday's draw at Bristol Rovers, but Wadsworth admitted he was simply making the numbers up.
He is still touch and go for tomorrow, Darren Ferguson's first home game back in charge of the club, but Wadsworth would have no difficulties in keeping Armann Bjornsson in that spot.
"Armann did well at the back on Tuesday, he's played international football and he hasn't had the best of times here, everyone would agree with that,'' he said. "But I've seen him in training and he's like a magnet to the ball both in the air and on the floor and he has ability.
"Similarly in reserve games he's done well at centre-half, what he needs in games. I doubt we can give him six or seven games on the bounce because Sam will be ready soon.
" I lost Paul Murray on Tuesday morning early on through illness, he didn't travel. Then on the coach, James Brown similar and he wasn't fit to play.
"Sam thought he was fit, then had a slight reaction on Monday, nothing serious, so we didn't take a risk. Three negatives, but the positive was the performance.
"Hopefully the bug is a 24-48 hours thing, so we will be clear for the weekend.''
Tuesday's point ended a run of three successive losses and Wadsworth added: "We've had some great wins and very good performances, Huddersfield takes precedent, but Tuesday's performance was worthy of a win.
"Joe Gamble came in and did really well, his application was good and with the balance we had playing that holding role worked well for the unit and Antony Sweeney and Gary Liddle got in there on more than one occasion.
"Sam wasn't quite ready, I wasn't going to use him on Tuesday. Putting him and Browny on the bench was just dressing up the turkey. We called Denis (Behan) up late to get him involved and I don't think Sam will be too far away on Saturday.''
