ILLNESS forced Paul Murray and James Brown out of the Hartlepool United side for their game at Bristol Rovers.
Brown was able to take his spot on the bench, Murray missing out altogether.
But Sam Collins was on the bench, after knee ligament trouble, while Neil Austin was able to start at right back and stay as skipper despite taking a calf injury suffered at the weekend.
Ritchie Humphreys replaced Brown up front, Joe Gamble in for Murray and Armann Bjornsson is at centre-half.
Cian Bolger, the Leicester centre-half on trial at Pools last week, is on the bench for Dave Penney's side.
