EASINGTON COLLIERY are flying as Willington found to their cost on Saturday.
The visitors were unable to contain a free-scoring attack which has now notched up 40 goals in 11 games.
Willington never looked like ending the impressive record after leaking two goals in four minutes to Andy Hall and Paul Taylor midway through the opening half.
Hall made it three on 75 minutes and a couple of minutes later Adam McGuinness also struck to complete another satisfactory afternoon for the Colliers.
Ryhope CW were without a fixture and New Marske are just a point behind them, in third place.
The Seasiders though didn’t have an easy ride against lowly Silksworth but goals either side of half time from Sean Mackin and Paul Millward (pen), earned them three crucial points.
Ashbrooke Belford House missed the chance to go second and stay fourth, level on points with New Marske. The Wearsiders had to settle for a goal-less draw at Coxhoe Athletic, who maintained their recent improvement.
Kirkbymoorside played the second half of their game at Windscale with ten men when Ryan Cooper was sent off after 44 minutes for handling to prevent a certain goal.
At this stage, the Yorkshiremen were trailing by two goals but produced a tremendous performance to finish 4-3 winners.
There was also a surfeit of goals when Boldon CA and Cleator Moor Celtic shared eight. Amazingly, Boldon fought back when all seemed lost after conceding four goals in 75 minutes.
Barry Armfield (3) and Gavin Edwards appeared to have the game won but after Gary Brook reduced the deficit, three goals flowed in a frenetic two minutes from Shaun Reay (2) and Gary Evans.
Ben Johnson, Barry Lindoe and David Turner (pen) eased Annfield Plain to victory over Prudhoe Town who at one stage led courtesy of Lee Best and Andrew Clarkson.
Anthony McLachlan scored with a fine solo effort for Darlington Cleveland Bridge but Stockton Town took the points with second-half strikes from Baker and Fred Woodhouse.
Redcar Athletic made an indifferent start to the season but have hit form, extending their unbeaten sequence at Jarrow but it was a close call, winning 2-1.
Wolviston reached the Second Round of the Durham Challenge Cup defeating Hartlepool 4-2 after extra time.
