SUNDERLAND boss Steve Bruce has named an unchanged starting line-up for this afternoon's home game with Aston Villa.
Despite the Black Cats having failed to break the deadlock against ten-man Blackburn on Monday night, there is still no place for club-record signing Asamoah Gyan.
The Ghanaian, who made a £13m move from Rennes in the summer, remains on the bench and is still to start a Premier League fixture.
Darren Bent continues as a lone striker, with Danny Welbeck and Ahmed Elmohamady lining up on the left and right flank respectively.
Titus Bramble and Michael Turner - so impressive at Ewood Park on Monday - continue together at the heart of the back four.
SUNDERLAND (4-5-1): Mignolet; Onuoha, Turner, Bramble, Bardsley; Elmohamady, Henderson, Malbranque, Cattermole, Welbeck; Bent.
