ANDY MURRAY overcame an early scare to power his way into his first Australian Open final.
The Scot responded to falling a set down (3-6) to Marin Cilic by winning three consecutive sets 6-4 6-4 6-2.
Now Murray has set up a mouthwatering final in Melbourne on Sunday with either world number one Roger Federer or Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
"I would expect Roger to come through and he's so good in slam finals but if I go out there and play my best I think I've got a chance of winning and its really exciting," said Murray.
If it is Federer, Murray will be looking for revenge for the last time the pair met in a slam final, at the US Open in 2008.
