MATT Kilgallon makes his Sunderland debut in this evening's away game at Everton, but there is no place in the side for unsettled striker Kenwyne Jones.
Having admitted that Jones had been unsettled by rumours linking him with a possible move to Liverpool, Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has dropped Jones to the bench at Goodison Park.
As a result, Darren Bent will play as a lone striker, with Kieran Richardson playing in the hole behind the Black Cats' leading scorer.
Kilgallon makes his Sunderland debut as part of a new-look back four that also includes fit-again trio Nyron Nosworthy, John Mensah and George McCartney.
