AFTER being handed the all-clear after suspected appendicitis, Jonathan Franks has been asked to play in a three-pronged Middlesbrough attack tonight.
The young forward missed Saturday's draw with Swansea after being taken into hospital but he has been deemed fit to play at Doncaster.
Franks has been introduced to a forward line that sees Leroy Lita dropped to the bench after a poor showing against the Swans.
Boro boss Gordon Strachan also includes Jonathan Grounds in the middle of his defence following the injury sustained to Chris Riggott over the weekend.
