GORDON STRACHAN has been quick to introduce his new signings to the Middlesbrough team, with Chris Killen, Willo Flood and Barry Robson all in line to make debuts at Sheffield United.
The three signings from Celtic have all been installed immediately into the Boro starting line-up, as Strachan looks to improve on just two wins from his ten matches in charge.
There is also a place for Adam Johnson on the bench after his hamstring trouble, while Chris Riggott keeps his place in the middle following Boro's failure to land centre-back Gary Caldwell.
SHEFFIELD UNITED (4-4-2): Bunn; Walker, Morgan, Seip, Taylor; Williamson, Montgomery, Harper, Quinn; Evans, Cresswell. Subs: Henderson, Bennett, Ward, Stewart, Geary, Fortune, Camara.
MIDDLESBROUGH (4-4-2): Coyne; McMahon, Wheater, Riggott, Hoyte; O’Neil, Robson, Osbourne, Flood; Killen, Aliadiere. Subs: Johnson, Bent, Arca, Bennett, Franks, Steele, L Williams.
