SUNDERLAND striker Martyn Waghorn has extended his loan deal with Leicester City until the end of the season.
The Black Cats, on the look out for a new striker this month, have accepted the Foxes' proposal in the hope that Waghorn will continue to gain first team experience.
He has scored five times, including two goals in his last three matches, and has become an integral part of the Leicester squad.
Waghorn, 19, will now remain at the Walkers Stadium until the end of the season, with Leicester manager Nigel Pearson hoping he can drive the club towards promotion to the Premier League.
