STEVE Bruce has made three changes to Sunderland's starting line-up for today's away game at Tottenham.
Two come in the defence, with Phil Bardsley returning at right-back and George McCartney earning a recall on the opposite flank.
Bardsley's recall allows Paulo Da Silva to shuffle across to centre-half in place of Nyron Nosworthy, while McCartney's return enables Kieran Richardson to play in central midfield.
Richardson replaces the suspended Lorik Cana, with Fraizer Campbell playing up front in place of Kenwyne Jones.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has named an attacking line-up with Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Peter Crouch all starting.
TOTTENHAM (4-4-2): Gomes; Corluka, King, Woodgate, Assou-Ekotto; Keane, Huddlestone, Palacios, Jenas; Crouch, Defoe.
Subs: Alnwick (gk), Hutton, Bale, Bentley, Pavlyuchenko, Dawson, Kranjcar.
SUNDERLAND (4-4-2): Gordon; Bardsley, Da Silva, Turner, McCartney; Malbranque, Henderson, Richardson, Reid; Campbell, Bent.
Subs: Fulop (gk), Ferdinand, Nosworthy, Murphy, Meyler, Healy, Reed.
