HARRY Vaulkhard will be part of a two-pronged attack on this years FIA European Touring Car Cup which will be held at the Braga Circuit in Portugal over the weekend of the October 24-25.
The bamboo engineering and British Touring Car regular will be joined for the event by Portuguese Touring Car star Duarte Felix da Costa.
The 24-year-old currently lies second in the Portuguese Touring Car Championship after a recent race win at the Braga circuit in September in a SEAT Leon.
He has also contested the early rounds of this years International GT Open Championship in a Ferrari 430 GTS.
Vaulkhard, from Newcastle, said: "I'm really looking forward to this event. Looking at the circuit the Chevrolet Lacetti should be a strong car round there and to have someone alongside me with the experience of Duarte - with his recent knowledge of the track - should put us in a great position for a good result there"
bamboo Team Principal Richard Coleman said he was looking forward to the challenge.
"I think it will be a great experience for Harry, and I genuinely think we have a dark horse with Duarte, he is a quick driver and has very good circuit knowledge," he said. "I'd like to thank Chevrolet Portugal for their support in putting this together for us."
