Alan Shearer last night put his boots back on to play in the Hillsborough Memorial game at Anfield, where he shared a joke with his former fellow pundit Alan Hansen.
England’s famed SAS attack, Teddy Sheringham and Shearer, joined forces again for the All-Stars against a Liverpool legends XI, and Sheringham scored with a stunning chip.
Ian Rush and John Aldridge both scored for the Reds and Kenny Dalglish hit the third in a 3-1 win.
