ADAM Boyd is on his way back to Hartlepool United, after the club agreed a deal with Leyton Orient for the former Victoria Park favourite.
The striker will next week complete a return to his home-town club, three summers after leaving for Luton Town in a £500,000 deal.
Boyd has agreed personal terms and will leave London to return to the club after first being given his debut by Chris Turner in 1999. He scored 60 times in 169 games in his first spell at Victoria Park.
He has been on the sidelines at Orient of late due to injury – but scored the winner against Pools at the Matchroom Stadium back in November.
