Defender Tony McMahon has signed a new, three-year deal at Middlesbrough.
His previous deal was due to expire at the end of the current campaign and last night penned a contract to stay.
Evenwood-born, McMahon has made 38 senior appearances since graduating from the Academy in 2004 and has been a regular in Gareth Southgate's side after returning from a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday.
For an exclusive interview with McMahon, don't miss Thursday's Northern Echo.
