Stepped up in grade for the Autumn Stakes at Ascot the following month, the three-year-old ran with plenty of credit to chase home the equally smart Kite Wood – a performance which suggested Taameer would not be seen at his best until stepped up in trip.
Tregoning knows what it takes to win a Derby having saddled 2006 Epsom hero Sir Percy and the fact he believes this colt could follow a similar path bodes well.
Expect him to make his presence felt on his comeback.

The son of War Chant had been the subject of plenty of positive reports prior to his debut and sent off the 11-8 market-leader, he did not let down his many supporters as he won with something up his sleeve.

The Press & Journal Highland National takes top billing on the final day of the Perth Festival and the one to side with could be The Gangerman.
