ARSENAL captain Cesc Fabregas is looking forward to a glamour semi-final against Manchester United after helping see off Villarreal 3-0 in their Champions League last-eight meeting at the Emirates Stadium.
That result handed Arsene Wenger’s side a 4-1 aggregate win over the Spanish side and set up a clash with their Premier League rivals.
Fabregas said: ‘‘What was really important was that we’d said we wanted to try to score early, keep the pressure on and we did that well.
‘‘At the end 3-0 is quite a fair result, we could have scored a few more but let’s not be greedy.
‘‘(Facing Manchester United) is unbelievable for us.
What can you say? To be in the semi-final of the Champions League against maybe the best team in Europe, and the world, we would take it for sure.’’ Wenger praised Theo Walcott for his first half goal saying: ‘‘We know he can finish but now he is transferring that to the games. His level of confidence has gone up.
‘‘In training he was always a good finisher but now he is becoming a great finisher in games too.’’
