ON-LOAN striker Marlon King goes straight into the Middlesbrough squad for tomorrow night's Premier League away game at Chelsea.
King, who has signed a loan deal until the end of the season, is expected to be on the substitutes' bench at Stamford Bridge.
Afonso Alves is expected to start as a lone striker, having scored four goals in his last four outings.
Boro's Brazilian record signing has recovered from an Achilles injury suffered in Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round win at Wolves.
Boro skipper Emanuel Pogatetz returns following a hamstring niggle, though fellow defender Andrew Taylor will be missing with an ankle ligament injury. Julio Arca is also back after recovering from a knee injury, but fellow midfielder Didier Digard is suspended.
Meanwhile, striker Tom Craddock has signed a permanent deal at League Two strugglers Luton Town.
The youngster, who scored four goals in eight games during a loan spell at Kenilworth Road, has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Hatters.
Likely line-up (vs Chelsea): Turnbull, Bates, Riggott, Wheater, Pogatetz, Tuncay, O'Neil, Shawky, Arca, Downing, Alves.
