MICHAEL Carrick is not yet sure whether Riley McGree will be ready to return for Middlesbrough at Burnley on Friday night.
But Seny Dieng is likely to be available for the trip to Turf Moor after resuming training at Rockliffe.
McGree missed Saturday's success against Hull after suffering a dead leg in the defeat to Blackburn Rovers, and Carrick admits it's not clear at this stage how long the Australian international will be sidelined.
“It was the dead leg he suffered on Wednesday and he still wasn’t ready for today," said Boro's boss after the 3-1 win over Hull.
"We’re not sure how bad, but it was quite a bad one to keep him out today. We’re not sure in terms of time-wise how it will look and whether he’ll be back next week or not. Hopefully it won’t be too long, but it will be touch and go for next week."

While Boro face a waiting game on McGree, Dieng is likely to be in contention to return at Turf Moor. The goalkeeper has missed the last three games with illness but has now returned to Rockliffe.
Carrick said: "He trained over the last day or so, but he had a bit of stop-start when he was away on international duty and didn't train too much. Then he came back and he's been ill, but he's back training."
Rav van den Berg and Lukas Engel were again missing against Hull City but both have been back in training. Aidan Morris was due back on Teesside this week. The midfielder suffered a knee injury while away with the United States during the international break and stayed in his homeland for initial treatment before returning to Boro. Earlier this week Carrick said it will be a "few weeks" before Morris is ready to return.
