DARLINGTON'S home game with Hereford United has been postponed because of a frozen pitch at Blackwell Meadows.
Quakers were meant to be hosting Hereford in National League North tomorrow afternoon.
However, with temperatures having plummeted in the last 24 hours, a pitch inspection was held this lunchtime.
And that has resulted in tomorrow's planned game being called off.
A Darlington statement said: "Following a lunch-time pitch inspection by a suitable qualified referee, tomorrow's home game against Hereford has been postponed.
"Most of the pitch, particularly in the shade of the seated stand, is frozen. No new date has been set for the re-arranged fixture."
